You don’t have to be a scientist (although many are pointing to the issue) to know that prolonged stress, sitting for long periods of time, and staring at a computer hunched over a keyboard is hard on the body and will have lasting effects. You also don’t have to be a seasoned Executive to know that the happier and healthier your employees are, the more productive, effective, and efficient they’ll be. And, you don’t have to be a Human Resources director to understand that when people feel seen, heard, and know they matter, turnover and absenteeism goes down. The bottom line? Caring about the wellbeing of your employees is good for you, good for your employees, and ultimately good for your bottom line.
